Shkodra asht dashni  ❤️! We are happy to close our festival with a night that celebrates the rich heritage of Shkodra in North Albania, and the artistic soul of the city where everyone sings! On August 10 at Lumbardhi, Orkestra Shkodra - an ensemble of virtuosi musicians led by legendary singer Agim Molla, who’s singing style is unique and he is considered to be the last singer of his kind, will bring a collection of popular urban and ceremonial wedding songs known locally as ‘Aheng’,  from their recently recorded and highly acclaimed (5 stars review Songline magazine) album “Like Nightingales in the Spring” . It will be as wild as an Albanian wedding can be! Not to be missed!  

The repertoire of Like Nightingales in the Spring album, performed by Orkestra Shkodra, is colorful, exhilarating, lyrical, passionate and representative of the mixed flavours that make up the Shkodra of past and present. It celebrates the best of Shkodra urban music which represents also the urban music of North Albania. The artists are a group of outstanding virtuosi singers and instrumentalists’ veterans as well as up-and coming talents and the crew is also composed of highly acclaimed music industry professionals.
