Matteo Gariglio, born in 1986 in Lucerne, Switzerland. Joint Swiss and Italian citizenship. 2010 BA in Filmmaking from HLSU (Hochschule Luzern, Design & Kunst). 2015 MA in Documentary Film Directing from DocNomads, Lisbon / Budapest / Brussels. With his last short documentary EN LA BOCA (2017), he won the Golden Dragon at Krakow Film Festival, Best International Short Doc at Guanajuato Film Festival and was among others nominated for the European Film Awards.
