Ömer Ferhat Özmen, born in 1993 in Bitlis, Özmen graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Film Design. His debut short “Beyoğlu Cinema” screened in over 50 national and international film festivals and received 15 awards. The film's success led to its screening at 45 universities across Turkey, making it the most awarded short film in Turkey for 2016-17.
