Austin Abasi – professional football player from Ghana – is being sold against his will to a club in Germany. FC Bayern is a long way from the Bavarian no man’s land he suddenly finds himself in. And if that wasn’t enough, his coach never wanted him to be there in the first place.

Director

Matthias Koßmehl was born 1987 in Munich. From 2008 to 2012 he studied Design and Arts in Italy at the Free University of Bolzano. During his studies he specialized in film and photography and finished his studies with the satirical shortfilm “Welcome to Bavaria”, which won several prices and was shown on more than 70 festivals around the world. Since 2013 he has been working as a free Producer in Munich, producing commercials and working on the development of own feature film projects. Since 2014 he joins the renowned directing Masterclass at the Hamburg Media School in Hamburg.
