This world has always seemed to me to be somewhat strange, somewhat alien to all of my emotions. Tesa Arranz, a key figure in the 1980s Madrid scene and the lead singer of the Zombies, has painted over 500 portraits of outer-space creatures.
Born in Spain in 1981, Luis López Carrasco co-founded Los Hijos, an experimental cinema and documentary collective, with Javier Fernández Vázquez and Natalia Marín Sancho. Together, they directed several shorts such as El sol en El sol del membrillo (2008). Their first feature film, Los materiales (2010), was awarded the Jean Vigo prize for Best Direction at the Punto de Vista International Film Festival. El futuro (2013), Luis López Carrasco’s first solo feature film, was selected in Locarno.
