How is a wife different from a lover or a prostitute? It is not, according to Victor Pearson, an American who has been living in the Philippines for many years. Is he a pimp? A harem owner? A criminal? This prison confession made by the character and a number of wives he has been supporting is not only a shocking portrait of the social and moral landscape of today’s Philippines but also a cathartic insight into the tempestuous past of Pearson, a Vietnam War veteran.
Director, co-editor and co-producer is an award-winning writer and filmmaker who has worked in newspapers, magazines, television and film. She is now a partner at Arkeofilms, an independent film production company where she is currently the Managing Director.
