Hardly Working hedh në qendër të vëmendjes vetë personazhet që zakonisht mbeten në sfondin e videolojërave: NPC-të. Ata janë personazhe jo-lojtarë që popullojnë botën dixhitale si shtesa për të krijuar pamjen e normalitetit. Vrojtohen me saktësi etnografike një lavandere, një djalosh stalle, një fshirëse rruge dhe një marangoz. Ato janë makineritë e Sizifit, rutinat e punës, aktivitetet, si dhe defektet dhe keqfunksionimet e të cilave japin një analogji të gjallë për punën në kapitalizëm.
Director
The pseudo-marxist media guerilla Total Refusal explores and practices strategies for artistic intervention in contemporary computer games. It works with tools of appropriation and rededication of game resources. Their films and performances were presented among others at Berlinale ‘20 and at the MoMA in NYC and they recently received the award for the best Austrian short documentary (Diagonale’20, Graz).
