Nicolas Keppens (Aalst, 1989) graduated in 2012 at KASK / School of Arts Ghent with the short animation film Superstars. After his animation studies at KASK he studied at the film academy of Luca School of Arts in Brussels. Apart from his own projects, Nicolas works as new media manager for Studio Hans Op de Beeck, where he is responsible for the production, animation and editing of different projects, e.g. Night Time Night Time (Biënnale Venice), The Thread (LV - Paris - Munchen - Tokyo) ...
Matthias Phlips (a.k.a. MAT) (Aalst, 1982) studied Graphic Design at Luca School of Arts Ghent. After graduating, Matthias started working as a graphic designer in Ghent, while developing his career as an illustrator and cartoonist. He published the books 'Daniël van Dicht' and 'vet boek van sharon' and does commissioned work for De Standaard (dSweekblad) and NRC Handelsblad among others. Currently MAT is working on a new book, and on this film of course.
