Heads and Tails jep kronikën e tregtisë kureshtare të flokëve në mes të Turqisë dhe Izraelit. Dy gra turko-izraelite, Coya dhe Sima, marrin bishtat e flokëve nga tregtarë të flokëve-burra nga Turqia dhe i shesin ato te punuesit e parukeve në Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan dhe Knei Brak. Gratë ortodokse çifute mbulojnë kokat e tyre me paruke të bëra nga flokë që dikur u përkisnin grave nga Anadolli. Në këtë udhëtim, floku kthehet në një produkt, mjet jetese dhe burim bukurie, bëhet legjitim, megjithatë nuk paguhet shumë për pronaren e tij, ajo e cila i rrit flokët me kujdes.
Director
Aylin Kuryel has a PhD degree from Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis (ASCA) at the University of Amsterdam. Currently, she is based in Amsterdam teaching at the University of Amsterdam. She has made art projects/exhibitions and has completed several short documentaries.
Fırat Yücel is a film critic and a filmmaker. He co-founded Altyazı Monthly Cinema Magazine in 2001, and worked as the magazine’s editor in chief since then.
