A journey through the chronology, aftermath and a potential conclusion of a military conflict, as reflected in the topographies that the war, either physically or contextually, shaped and altered.
Aron Sekelj was born on 11.11.1988 in Belgrade, Serbia. From 2008 to 2012, BA Studies in Film Directing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade (Fdu Beograd), with numerous short fiction, documentary and experimental films completed over the course of these four years. In 2012, he moved to Hamburg, Germany to pursue a MFA degree in Film at the University of Fine Arts (Hochschule für bildende Künste), graduating in 2016 with the experimental documentary project “Landscapes of War, Landscapes of Peace”. Currently living and working in Hamburg and Belgrade.
