Xhiruar në shkretëtirën Sharjah në Emiratet e Bashkuara Arabe, The Digger (Gërmuesi) përcjellë jetën e përditshme të Sultan Zeib Khanit, një kujdestar pakistanez, që ruan gërmadhat e një varreze neolitike për 20 vjet. Si dëshmitar i mitologjive themeluese të kombit, Sultan ruan rrënojat arkeologjike, duke u kujdesur që ato të mos shkatërrohen. Në mesin e këtyre varreve të zbrazëta që jehojnë pafundësinë e shkretëtirës, mungesa e kufomave është më shqetësuese sesa prania e tyre.
Director
Born in 1976 in Beirut, Lebanon. Lives and works in Paris and Beirut. Ali CHERRI is a video and visual artist based in Beirut and Paris. He is currently conducting a research with the French National Institute for Preventive Archaeological Research (INRAP) and the Deutsche Aarchäologische Institut (DAI) on the place of the archeological object in the construction of national historical narratives.
