Haja Fatma, a mother to eight children, tells the tale of family life in Tripoli during the Libyan Revolution. Women, young and old, all contributed during these hostile months in their own unique way. A human portal into the acts of ordinary people in their hope for freedom.
Born to a Libyan father and English mother, Naziha grew up in Hastings, UK. After working in theatre, she went to study at Central Saint Martin’s College of Art where she gained a Masters in Screen. Upon graduating, she moved to Libya to discover her father’s distant homeland and explore the country’s hidden depths, people and culture.
