The Swing of the Coffin Maker

Yagub is a death profiteer. The local carpenter of a small town in Azerbaijan, Yagub’s main business is the construction of coffins. Yagub lives alone with his mentally impaired son Musa, who tries to help his father in any way he can, despite his lack of motor skills. They live a solitary life. Because of his sons disability, Yagub is treated in a different light when Musa in presence of others. Yagub blames Musa for his position in life and punishes him whenever Musa’s disability manifests itself. One day Musa becomes terribly ill.
