More than 40 year after “The deceased” (directed by Leon Hirszman), Zulmira is back - and is not deceased. She is an old mistress, who lives in the traditional neighborhood of Estacio, in Rio de Janeiro. One day she wakes up obsessed with the idea of dying. All she needs is a good coffin.
Eduardo Ades (1981, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), graduated in Film and Video, works as a festival curator and film producer, while develops his own film projects. “The lady from Estacio” (2012) is his first fiction short film as a director. In 2003, he founded the production company Imagem-Tempo that works with cultural projects and independent television productions.
