In an extraordinary career that spans over 40 years, American-born Scott Walker has been both the most famous pop singer in the UK and one of its most enigmatic and reclusive artists. Emerging from a decade-long silence, the mysterious former teen idol has, at age 63, just released the most audacious and shocking album of his career; “The Drift.” This film celebrates the artistic journey (and the amazing voice) of one of the most uncompromising and respected figures in music today and presents a rare look inside the most bizarre recording session ever captured on film.
Kijak received a degree in Broadcasting & Film from Boston Universitys College of
Communication where he studied with renowned film scholar Ray Carney as well as the late Mel Howard. He is based in Los Angeles. He wrote, directed and produced the feature film Never Met Picasso (1996).
