A woman listens to and translates stories of exile which stir her soul. Like fresh running water, these stories stir up a distant memory, the pain of which is far from soothed.
Director
Nimetulla's films mostly concern marginal cultures. After a documentary about a rap workshop given in prison - Jail House Rap”, “Cradle song” is a poetic opus on perception of exile. For the moment, Nimetulla works in several Belgians prisons, on a project of video-theatre, «Empreintes du dedans».
