Iraq in 1988. A country ravaged by war. Ten year old Dileer and his sister want to watch cartoons on television. But this is much more difficult than it would seem for, no matter which channel they press, all they see are soldiers – everywhere!

Born in Zakho in northern Iraq on 1980. From 2004-2008 he studied at Sint Lukas University College of Art and Design in Brussels, since when he has made several short films that have also received international awards.
